You must be at least 21 years of age to order and/or receive alcoholic beverages.
Orders are not processed until quantities are confirmed. Although our website updates
quantities every 1 minute (during business hours), hard-to-find and highly-sought-after
wines can sell out quickly. Once we have received your initial order, we will finalize
your order on a first come, first served basis and then email your invoice.
Premier Cru can only ship to states where it is legal to ship alcoholic beverages. If
you live in a state which is not legal to ship alcoholic beverages, please provide an
alternative shipping address in a legal state, or the address of a "third party" storage
facility (taxes will be applied as appropriate).
For information on which states we can or cannot ship to, please see our terms and
conditions or contact us at shipping@premiercru.net or by calling 510-655-6691 during
business hours (pst).
Completed orders are either held for future delivery or shipped by your preferred
shipping method. We will not be responsible for any wines damaged by weather once they
have left our warehouse.
For all in stock items that you wish shipped or prepared for pickup, please allow 72
hours for us to gather your wines.
Shipping Rates:
When you view your shopping cart at final checkout, you will notice that the shipping
field populates. This is an estimate. The actual shipping charges will be charged
separately once the bottle quantities, bottle sizes, shipment method, styrofoam shippers,
and insurance are calculated. For this reason, we can only approximate shipping charges
based on the formula that one case (750ml equivalent) will typically cost from $20-$42
to ship ground, $60-$101 to ship 2nd day air, and $95-$123 to ship overnight, depending
on your state. Shipping is based on weight. For instance, the shipping fee for 6 bottles
is significantly less than the rate for a case yet Champagne and some other unique bottles
weigh more than the typical 750ml.

Weather:
We do not advise shipping in warmer or freezing temperatures and if so, recommend Next
Day morning delivery. We will not be responsible for any wines damaged by weather once
they have left our warehouse. By default, we do not ship until requested. This benefit
allows you to accumulate your orders, save on shipping fees, and ship in optimal weather
conditions.
When shipping via ground service, there is always a risk with weather and time delays.
Any ground shipments to the East coast or mid-East will take 5+ days to arrive. If your
wines are shipped on a Monday, they will likely arrive the following Monday. Please
consider this when choosing ground as your method of shipment. If you ship on a Wednesday
or Thursday, the wines will likely travel over the weekend and arrive by the middle to
end of the following week.
International Shipping:
We frequently ship to Japan via Yamato Transport and to Hong Kong via DHL.
DHL is our primary international carrier for other countries.
Customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, tariffs, customs charges, and other fees.
Please contact us to for a shipping quote via email at shipping@premiercru.net or call
(510) 655-6691.
Storage:
We urge you to take delivery of your wines as soon as possible, as we have limited warehouse
space. Recognizing temperature and other factors, you may delay receipt of your wines for up
to six months from the date of your arrival notification. After six months, it will be
necessary to assess a charge of 1.5% of the value of your wine each month to cover the cost
of insurance, overhead and administration.
